Gratitude + Sunset

We created Reflecting Justice with the vision of working alongside individuals and teams to transform culture through relational and embodied practices. Individually and collectively divesting from white supremacy and anti-Blackness creates pathways for healing and liberation for us all, and we are humbled to have contributed to this work with our incredible partners over the last 3.5 years. We closed as an organization in December 2023.

In closing Reflecting Justice, we want to highlight some of the organizations we have and continue to learn from. Initiate Justice, Ella Baker Center, and Anti-Police Terror Project are racial justice organizations that are mobilizing to shift resources away from policing and prisons, and back into Black and Brown communities. We stand with Palestine unequivocally - USCPR, AROC, and Palestinian Youth Movement are some of the many organizations working for a permanent ceasefire, immediate aid, an end to Israeli occupation, and Palestinian liberation.

Please keep in touch, we’d love to hear from you.

Reflecting Justice was based on unceded land of the Lisjan Ohlone people, which means we benefit from the genocide waged against the Lisjan Ohlone people and the theft of their land. Paying the Shuumi Land Tax annually is one way that we hold this violent truth alongside the Sogorea Te’s healing work of rematriation for current and future generations of Indigenous people to thrive in the Bay Area. We encourage individuals and institutions to pay Shuumi.
